I'm half of a newlywed couple in the Pacific Northwest who greatly enjoy cooking together. A couple of food intolerances have jump-started us into exploring a wide variety of new and exciting cuisines. Our favorite recent discovery? Homemade nut-milk ice cream! If I were stranded on a desert island and could have only three kinds of food, they would be avocado, pears, and hot apple cider. My husband says he'd bring dark chocolate, basmati rice, and soy sauce.
