about me

I'm a 26 year old professional, who's recently discovered cooking. Banned from the kitchen as a child, and too busy just being to learn to cook before, I'm a culinary late bloomer who is tip-toeing her way back into the kitchen.

Favorite Foods:

I have many favorite dishes, but they are all Mom's good ol' dishes. I never try to make them, because it never seems to taste the same. But I enjoy old staples, like russian teacakes, apple spice and carrot cake. Enjoy cookies and bread/cakes over regular cakes i.e. chocolate etc. My favorite dish is Baked Macaroni and Cheese with the breadcrumb and cheese topping. Truly my comfort food and once what I always looked forward to coming home for, sadly my mother passed away in May 06, she's missed greatly.


Favorite types of cuisine are Thai, Indian, Mediterranean, Greek... I love finding new restaurants to try but as of yet haven't been daring enough to attempt any of these foods at home.
