about me

I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. I have started to cook more during the last year and my skills have improved a lot since I first started. My wife is a great cook/baker and I have learned a lot from her over the years. Sometimes the kids complain when I try something that is a little bit out there, but they are good sports overall. Cooking has been fun and I have enjoyed being a "Zaar" member.

Favorite Foods:

I love all kinds of foods. If I had to choose one it would have to be Mexican food. I love the spices, sauces, chips, etc. Garlic is a favorite ingredient. I also like to experiment with Chili and change up the kinds of powders I use. Lately, I have been using some Chipolte powder I get at Mexicantown in Downtown Detroit. If anyone needs an ingredient that can only be found here in Detroit, shoot me a z-mail and I will get it and send it to you.
