I'm in my late 30's, married with one teenage daughter still at home, one grown step-daughter (with two beautiful grand babies), two dogs, two cats, work full time, try to crochet, am learning to knit & quilt, enjoy gardening - but more than anything I love to cook.

As a child, I was raised in a Vegetarian home and I still cook / create many Vegetarian recipes and meals for my family (although my husband & I do eat meat).

In the last year our teen daughter has become completely Vegetarian, so I feel fortunate to be able to provide her with a healthful balanced diet that is not boring or limited by just cutting out meat.

I found this site because a person that I work with shared his love of his wifes cooking and then forwarded me some email recipes from her with info on this site. The more time I spend on Recipezaar, the more I love it!

Favorite Foods:

Although there are many foods I love, I would have to say that two of my favorite foods would be Potatoes or Cheese, or even better yet - both together
