about me

I have been married to my DH for 5 years and we have an adorable 18 month old son. I live in NYC and I wish I took more advantage of what it has to offer. I have recently begun to work from home. I love cooking but often order takeout because I hate cleaning up after myself. In addition to cleaning, I hate poor spelling and grammar, which is a mistake to put down here, because I will probably misspell something on this site and it will bite me in the *** later. I am in my bliss when I am riding a horse (sad, because I only get to do it once a year or so), eating good chocolate, and wearing my skinny jeans. And when my son laughs. Every time.

Favorite Foods:

My three favorite foods, in no particular order: good bittersweet chocolate, soup (all kinds) and lemon curd. I enjoy Indian food and I am slowly building up my spicy-food threshold. I never attempt to make any Indian dishes or any other foreign recipes at home - while I enjoy all kinds of foreign cuisine, I take one look at the processes and ingredient lists and out come the take-out menus... My DH doesn't eat dessert, so my baking is seriously rusty.
