Stay at home mother of two, homeschooler, and becoming pretty serious about vegetable gardening. My relationship with Jesus is precious to me, and I love to spend time in his presence and worship. I'm an avid once-a-month cooker. Thanks in great part to the canning forum, I'm learning how to can, and just made my first processed jams. I'm all about learning new things, organinzing things, growing things, and making things! I want to learn everything that I can in case the Lord calls our family out to the international mission field for a "long term". My husband and I have been called to short term trips to Guatemala and Costa Rica, and it is awesome to experience new cultures and serve the Lord's people in new ways.
I love to make yeast and quick breads, and cinnamon rolls. I prefer baking to skillet work, which is why OAMC is so great for me. I can do it all at once and be done for the most part. I am much more motivated by cooking for storage purposes than by cooking for today, unless I have a craving for something.
My current favorite is Chicken Tikka Masala at a local Indian Restaurant.
