about me

I'm a stay at home wife and mother of 3 children under 4. I enjoy cooking, scrapbooking, and spending time as a family. This is a very busy season of my life with three small children. Cooking is something I not only enjoy but is necessary to raise a healthy family on a budget.

Favorite Foods:

I love cooking just about anything. My specialty is the Greek and Middle Eastern cooking I grew up on. I really enjoy ethnic cooking and have picked up many recipes in my travels throughout Europe as a missionary. I'm also a student of "southern" style cooking because my husband was raised on it and requests it often. I also collect different types of cookbooks and keep an extensive recipe file. My Joy of Cooking cookbook is my best reference material when cooking. But Taste of Home wins hands down on finding good recipes.
My best dishes are probably my lasagna, garlic chicken, roast beef with gravy and fried chicken. I also love making homemade bread thanks to my bread machine. Baking is my favorite form of relaxing and my favorites are cookies, cakes, and brownies. I have been trying to lighten up my cooking so I'm on a quest for healthy recipes now.
