I live in the Sierra Foothills in Northern CA. I am a working full time mom of the cutest and sweetest 21 month old boy.. on the planet!

My fave Cookbook(s) are my Cooking Light magazines and the Betty Crocker "Cooky Book" and really any Mexican cookbook. I love to bake Sweets and breads most, but love to cook wonderful gourmet (lowfat) dinners. I am always looking for the best low-fat recipes. I am also very good at knowing how to alter any recipe to make it low-fat.
My passions are working out, baking, reading cookbooks, and taking care of our wonderful "house in the Woods" with my husband and new baby boy!
My pet peeves are Smoking, bad drivers, traffic, and loud obnoxious people that think they know it all and Lying.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite foods are anything Sweet, and spicy. I LOVE candy and my Fave is Candy Corns.. I love them! They are addicting and I can eat a whole bag of Brachs candy corn in 1 day!
We love Mexican the most and I make the best ground Turkey enchiladas. I don't eat red meat.
I am famous for my "Killer" lasagna made with Ground Turkey breast & other fresh ingredients. My family also loves my Chicken Curry and Orzo/Spinach salad.
I have MANY favorite restaurants, most of which are in the San Francisco Bay Area. I love Betelnut in the Marina District in SF, and Scomas in the Wharf area. I love El Balazo (Mexican Taqueria.. the BEST) and Fats in Roseville, CA. New Moon Cafe in Nevada City is Wonderful and has a wonderful Wine list!
