I am 22 years old. I got married to the love of my life, Jerry, on September 20, 2008. We both grew up in Minnesota. I'm originally from the Iron Range and now we live on a different kind of range- Wyoming! We moved out here for my husband's job. He's a contract service technician for Caterpillar. After marrying and moving I took 4 months off from work. I'm now back working and I'm trying to make it as a waitress. I work at a 1920's themed restaurant. I like a good home cooked meal over any restaurant meal. I didn't realize I liked to cook until I met my husband. When we first moved in together he did most of the cooking. I must have gotten sick of eating frozen pizzas, tacos, chicken, and hamburgers so I took over. I'm also a meat and potatoes kind of person, but lately I've been expanding my horizions. I've been cooking more veggies and more meatless meals. I also bake on occasion. When I first started I was terrible and then I invested in an oven thermometer.
I like to try different regional/ethnic foods. I grew up on pasties, porketta, etc. I'm not Italian but I sure love their food! I also love chocolate. It doesn't matter if it's milk, white, or dark- I don't discriminate! It's all good.
