I have been cooking all my life. I have a small collection of some 45 cookbooks, but I am always looking for more. I love to be crative in the kitchen. I think food can be one of the best art forms EVER...I mean can you eat a Picasso? I have a small catering company and I am ALWAYS looking for something new.
Full flavor and presentation are REAL big in my book! I think that often times the look of the food is just as important. Consider the culinary holy trinity, Look, Taste, and Smell.
I only have one pet peeve when it comes to food and that would be people that sit at my table and don't have an open mind. Forget how you hated spinach as a child. Throw out the moemory of your mom's boiled brussel sprouts, this is going to be a whole other experience!
This is real simple....the onion. Where would be in the culinary wolrd without it?
