I am a senior at the University of Tennessee, where I am studying psychology and political science to become a child abuse advocate. I currently manage a coffee shop, and constantly look for new soup recipes for our daily soup, salad, and sandwich lunches. I also love to cook and experiment with different ingredients in classic favorites. I do have to say my baking skills aren't as polished as they should be, but I am learning! I have also bartended for 5 years, so I like to find uncommon drink recipes.
I love fresh veggies, especially red pepper, carrots, red onion, mushrooms, black olives, spinach, etc. I also enjoy playing with different pasta sauces to make my own unique blends (often times they include these fresh veggies I love so much). When I eat out at resteraunts I try to order something different evertime, but my old faithful is salmon...any way prepared and I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I love orange sherbert, its my ultimate comfort food. As far as resteraunts go, my top favs are any Hibachi grill, The Cheesecake Factory, and a family owned resteraunt about 30 minutes away from me, in Troy, Tn. It is called Thw White House, and I have not ordered anything thing that I don't like!
