This picture is me with with Jeffrey in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico - May 2007.

We have lived in different parts of Califonia for 9 years, moved back to Illinois in 2002. The influence of SoCal culture has changed my cooking practices dramtically. I go for the spicier the better!! But, that doesn't interfear with my Polish upbringing and passion for the food of my heritage and anything else that just sounds good!

I love to hang out and swap recipes with my sister Kathy (Chef #: Kasia#3). She has taught me so much about cooking and is a great joy to be with.

I work full time as an office manager for a packaging company. I have been married for over 10 years. I have no children - I am VERY happy just to be an aunt and a step-monster!

I am so happy to be back in IL with my family...now I have more people to cook for!

My favorite cookbook is the cookbook from my mom's church.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite "real" foods are soups, stews & chili.

My favorite "junk" food is popcorn and gummy bears or gummy alligators Dad sends me from FL.

My favorite dish to make is chicken enchiladas - they are always requested by my family and co-workers.

I love to "create" by just working with what I have in the house.

My favorite restaurant right now is the Rt 20 Cafe in Marengo, IL - They have Awesome Chicken Marsala
