about me

I served in the army for 26 years then after a year off to rebuild the inside of a 500 year old cottage became a diplomatic courier which I still am. Travel features totally in my life which accounts for my great interest in spices and their different combinations for different results.

I am also a Yeoman of the Queen's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard, see the photo of me 'posed' in my uniform, in fact I was recently promoted to Yeoman Bed Hanger, a rank lost in history.
We attend ceremonial where the Queen is in attendance, for example these can include State Opening of Parliament, State Visits, Royal Maundy Services, Investitures which is where the worthy are presented with their medals etc.
