about me

I was born and raised in Florida, yes, I know, there are not very many of us out there!
I have been cooking for as long as I can remember....always helping mom in the kitchen when I was little, even if it was only stirring the spaghetti sauce or pouring the bag of chocolate chips in the batter. Now I have my nephew over for "cooking lessons". He loves every minute of it. One day he will be a chef here on Recipezaar!
I have recently made a career change. I have been in banking for almost 10 years and have just made the switch to Real Estate. So far, so good. It is very interesting to me. I get to meet new people all of the time and get great ideas for home decorating....or maybe my "dream home" design one day!

Mmmmmmmm.....I have found so many good recipes here on Zaar. I would say my favorite would be italian, but my own home cooking! I found a wonderful recipe for italian sauce and meatballs on this site. I have an awesome recipe for alfredo sauce that I promise to post sometime. And sauce with peppers and onions....I could never choose just one!
