Well to start, I'm a major Foodie. Not only do I love to cook, as is true of most Foodies, I love to eat and share my creations with family & friends. My love of cooking wasn't cultivated until after I was married...being the go-to person of "What's for Dinner, will do that to you. However, as a child, I have fond memories of my Easy-Bake Oven and remember being utterly disappointed at running out of cake mix
At that point, I beleive my cooking seed had begun to sprout. Now, collecting cook books, watching cooking shows and searching recipe sites, are all huge sources of inspiration and enjoyment for me. I love it! Who can resist watching "How cute is that?" ~ Barefoot Contessa or flipping through a magazine to find your next recipe to take for a test run.
I'm a sucker for most anything with cheese or cream in the title. Bread is another favorite of mine. I have to admit to having a sweet tooth, although cooking for two makes full-out baking a bit more challenging. Baking in the fall is ideal because I can ship the goodies out to others. I could stand to expand my dinner repertiore, so this site right up my alley. Nothing like having a host of recipes/pictures at my fingertips!
