about me

I am very new at this whole cooking thing. I just graduated college and am just starting out this "welcome to the real world" life. I have never really been into the whole cooking scene but since moving in with my boyfriend I have started to like it. I am trying lots of different recipes and found this site to be very very helpful, as well as, having GREAT and EASY recipes. I love sports! I played volleyball all through college. I tell everyone that is what got me through college. I love to be around my family and friends. I hope this makes me into a better cook!!

Well I have been on this site for about a year and a half now and absolutely LOVE it. I have recently got engaged and am very excited!! This website has been great and helpful for getting and trying new recipes! Thanks for all the help, emails, and trying my recipes!

Favorite Foods:

I am almost a vegitarian. I eat only skinless, boneless chicken and turkey on the holidays. I love any fruit and veggie you put in front of me.My boyfriend on the other hand is the total opposite. He loves his meat and potatoes. My favorite restaurant is Verna's Home Cookin'. If anyone is around Chandlerville, Illinois it is worth the drive to come and eat at this little hometown restaurant. I have worked there since I was 12 years old when my aunt owned it and am still working there today...10 years later!! I work on weekends because my full time job during the week isn't enough for my wonderful college loans
