about me

I'm an Army wife (DH is Bill) and mommy to 1 beautiful daughter, Melanie, who is 6 years old.
My DH is assigned to Ft. Campbell, KY; he's been a proud member of the US Army for 22 years now, and will be deploying again in late December. I'm a registered nurse, working in the home health field.
I'm originally from southeastern Alabama...my family still lives there.
We have 2 dogs...Avery (or as my DD calls him "Bubba"), a Dalmatian, and the SuperBeagle, Zoe. We've also got a trio of cats, Peach, Callie, and Tiger.
I'm a HUGE Nashville Predators fan; my hubby and I have season tickets and LOVE to go to the games. We're also big NASCAR fans, and try to never miss the Talladega races. My daughter competes in beauty pageants (natural ones, we don't do the "Jon-Benet" type thing).

Favorite Foods:

My favorite dish to cook would be tacos & enchiladas. I love Mexican & Italian food. I also have a horrible sweet tooth, so I enjoy baking. One of my favorite things to bake is a fantastic pound cake recipe I got from one of my mom's friends.
My absolue favorite recipe I've ever tried from Zaar would have to be Lorac's Chili Cheesy Creamy Chickey Crock Pot, Chili Cheesy Creamy Chickey Crock Pot. I make it pretty often, it is sooooo good!!
