about me

I love to cook, but don't have a lot of time to do it, since I work full time. I like to try a new recipe every Saturday, if time allows.

I have one grown son and three grandaughters ages 16,10 and 3. The ten year old has won many medals in gymnastics meets over the past few years.

Favorite Foods:

I have Southern roots, so I love good down home Southern cooking. I like the down home cooking the way it use to be done, by my great grandparents, grandmothers and mom. It wasn't the most healthy eating, but I suppose they needed the extra calories, since they worked pretty hard in those days. I also love Soul Food and PA Dutch cooking. Give me some crispy fried chicken, collards, baked macaroni and I'm in heaven.

I also love French and Mexican cuisine. I like trying different ethnic foods too.
