about me

Well well well... I suppose the most important information that you should know is that I love all things food. Cooking it, smelling it, eating it, improving it. I rarely ever cook the same thing twice just because I am always trying to make my recipes better, (unless I am absolutely floored by something, in which case I will make it everyday for about 3 weeks, and take pictures of it to send to friends and family. And then make enough for everyone in my apartment complex. It just has to be that good).

Other than that, I am a-still-considered a newly wed (almost 2 years), with an absolutely magnificent 4 month old daughter, Gracie. She has become center stage of my freelance photography in her spare time, when she's not watching Baby Einstein and talking to the sock puppetes. We just moved to Atlanta from New York, trying to get away from the cold, the thick accents, and the bears. If any New Yorker reads this, don't get me wrong, I grew up in NY and consider it my home... I would just rather be sweating in November and driving slow.

And just because we're all in a heartwarming recipe-swaping relationship, my pet peeves are drinking from a glass with ice without a straw, sticky fingers, and wet feet in sandals.

Favorite Foods:

What has gone from enjoyment to hobby to almost-obsession is baking. Baking breads, desserts, chicken, you know name it, I'll bake it. This may be in part due to the Stay-at-home-Wife position that I currently employ, but hey, if it keeps me busy and my husband's tummy happy, where's the wrong done?



My obsessive-flavor-of-the-week is: Rice Pudding. Try it for breakfast, have some for dessert, it's a dish that'll make you want to become a glutton. Just be sure to bake it with brown rice and lowfat milk, and you've got nothing to worry about.
