about me

I live in beautiful New Hampshire where we get to enjoy all four seasons. I don't have any children but I have 4 kitties living with me at the moment, Cloud, Zazu, Otto, and Lazareth. I sometimes create jewelry and am working on writing a book in my spare (ha!) time. I would like to be able to visit Ireland, Scotland, Germany, and New Zealand some day. Cooking is one of my passions. I would say I started cooking at about 7 years old in self-defense. My mom couldn't boil water without an instruction manual. (The poor woman could burn cold cereal!) Up until 2002'ish I had been mostly an improvisational cook. Recently I started thinking of using "real recipes" for things other than baking. So, here you find me!

Favorite Foods:

I am famous for my cheesecake. I am "forced" to make at least one for every holiday gathering.
My favorite restaurant was The Aloha (Chinese & Polynesian) and I used to go there at least once a week. Now... My favorite is Thai Chef in Derry NH.
I guess my favorite foods would be hard to pin down. I like a lot of variety.
I am infamous for bringing too many treats to work! I actually came in 2nd in a company-wide cookie contest in 2003. They gave me a little trophy, awww..
