I'm married with currently 5 children 10 and under. We have a dairy goat farm, 60 chickens, 4 turkeys, and 4 geese, and a partridge in a pear tree. Perhaps. And two housecats, and a long haired dachshund who plays with them, and runs from them, depending on the day.
I'm passionate about cooking, and preserving our harvest. We have a petite farm stand where I sell my free range ages and heirloom tomatoes and naturally grown produce on Canandaigua Lake. I milk the goats and make cheese for my family's use only.
I teach my little ones to work alongside me picking berries and turning them into perfectly wonderful and simple jams and preserves. We have so much fun!!

Thai is my favorite. We drive at least an hour to find Thai food. Not very often though.
I also adore Indian food. Curries speak volumes to me. I am passionate about spices and herbs.
I am famous for my jam recipes. I have demonstrated some vegetarian baby food recipes on the local PBS station in Seattle.
I'm going to finish and pitch a series of newspaper columns to several local papers this fall after the eldest 4 children are back in school. They will be recipe and farm related.
