about me

i love to cook for my husband and 9-year-old. they're not afraid to let me know when a recipe doesn't work, in which case my big red dog silvan gets an extra treat! i like crockpot meals which i can fix before i go to work in the morning, and i also love greek and indian dishes. most of my dishes are pretty basic, and i try to avoid chemicals and processed foods.

Favorite Foods:

i make pretty good guacamole, and also a very good basic pot roast. i love the recipes on zaar! my favorite restaurant is the taj mahal #3 in louisville, colorado. it rocks! they have the best onion bhaji (sic) i've ever had in my life. i like to read about the members on zaar, and i think it's really sweet how so many people still like to cook for their families. sometimes i feel like such an anachronism for spending hours in the kitchen.
