I'm a mother of one and a web developer by trade and I love to bake and cook whenever I can squeeze out a few hours of free time. Actually, I like baking more, so it's lucky that I have a real "meat and potatoes" husband who's easy to please (and also cooks) and a son with an insatiable sweet tooth.
At our house, traditional comfort food is common during the colder months with grilling our main choice in summer. Sprinkled throughout is a passion for East Asian and Italian dishes, depending on the mood.
It would be easier to tell you what foods I don't like — brussel sprouts and broccoli — than to list my favorites. But when someone else is doing the cooking, and I get to pick from a menu, I usually find myself ordering the same thing: seafood. It doesn't matter if it swims or hangs out in a shell, I'm going to love it.
Favorite cuisines: Traditional and Southern American, Italian, Asian, and South-of-border.
