about me

I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I (used to) work for a national, not-for-profit organization as the database administrator. Now, I've been a stay-at-home mom for 2 years. I have a 7 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. Both of whom, I'm afraid to say, are very picky eaters. (Unless they lived in McDonald's of course!). However, that's not the lifestyle I want to raise them in, which is why I just love 'Zaar. Almost all the recipes I've tried have been a hit with my hubby and I (if not always with my kids). Oh well. They'll learn to love good, home cooked food as much as we do, eventually.

Favorite Foods:

No particular favourite food, just love all types of ethnic cuisines. Am partial to Asian — Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean. However, a nice thick medium-rare sirloin steak with garlic mashed potatoes can make me just as happy.
