about me

I live in Northern Illinois in a small (10,000) town. I have lived in Louisville, Memphis, and Ann Arbor, recently. I hope we are done moving around for a while!
Our sons are on the varsity basketball team and our daughter is coached by my hubby and we like recipes that are fast or can be crock potted!
I let the dogs out and work with a friend in her shop where we make custom shirts, embroidery and screen printing!
I am a positive person and would like to think of myself as a kind person, but I am always working on it!

Favorite Foods:

I like all sorts of foods, Thai, is our favorite right now. I cannot get the take out flavor of the Pad Thai!!
In our small town, there is no Thai restaurant, we have to drive 25 minutes to the college town to get it!
I would never give a recipe on this site a bad review. I will be honest, but I have seen folks give a bad review to recipes they've intended to try!??!! Crazy!
