I joined zaar in 2002 but I really didn't use it much on until 2006 after my computer crashed and I lost all my unsaved recipes. Now I post all recipes I've tried or want to try. I love food and I love to eat. My favorite course is dessert. I love sweets. I love baking and cooking a priceless gift passed down from my grammy who I dearly loved and miss deeply. My grammy passed away 1/15/07. She was a wonderful cook and baker and taught me many things and the most valueable things was how to be a wonderful cook and baker like her. I really enjoy searching for new recipes especially here on zaar. I'm always finding a new and exciting recipes to try here. I enjoy posting recipes here on zaar as well. I post recipes I've tried or plan to try. I really like collecting different cookbooks. I have over a 100 and growing. I collect mostly Taste Of Home & community cookbooks. The minute I get a cookbook home I sit down and I read my cookbooks from front to back like novels. I'm a homemaker raising my 5 yrs old newphew. I'm a part time college student studing Early Childhood Education. I live in Elmira, New York where famous writer Mark Twain did some of his writing and he once lived. I have 3 cats Samantha, Chase and Miss Kitty and 2 dogs Angel and our newest member MOO MOO (my nieces dog) who are my children as I do not have any human children of my own. I recently lost one of my very dear children (kitty) Callie 6/14/07. I'm engaged to be married to my future hubby of 12 years. I love spending time with my niece 6 yrs old and my newphews 3 & 5 yrs old. I enjoy couponing and trading coupons. I love the internet as there's so much to look at online. I enjoy going to yard sales and estate sales every spring - fall. I love gardening and have many different pretty flowers.

Favorite Foods:

Some of my favorite dishes to cook are My Gram's Chicken and Biscuits, Sunday Roast Chicken, My Macaroni and Cheese, Boiled Dinner, Banana Bread Pancakes, Divine Meatball Sandwiches, Butterscotch Oatmeal, and many, many, more.

My favorite restaurant food are Pudgie's Pizza and Subs "Chicken Wings", The Old Barge "Garlic Chicken Wings", and Southside Sub Shop "Turkey Sub and Chicken Salad Sub".

The dishes I'm famous for are My Baked Beans, and Icebox Cherry Dessert. I always get requests to make these dishes.

I have many favorite restaurants but ones that come first to mind are Olive Garden, TGIFriday's, Chilies, Applebees, Old Country Buffet and Chinese Buffets.
