about me

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and now live in the beautiful and bountiful Pacific Northwest. I am a stay at home mom with two teenagers and a very hard working husband. I love to cook and enjoy trying cuisines from around the world.Luckily, my family enjoys my experiments, nothing ever stays the same as the original recipe. My family loves the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, and the beach. I love to cruise the local farmer's marketto see what each new week brings. I love to travel and have been to Europe, Great Britain, Mexico, and Canada.

Favorite Foods:

I love authentic ethnic foods from around the world and am willing to try anything once. I like to use as many fresh ingredients as possible.
I just tried Peruvian food at a restaurant here in Portland that was wonderful.
