about me

I recently moved to Ohio so that I could help with my Mom. She was diagnosed with Parkinson's. We live in a very very small town, which is new for me. I used to be with a large corporation (WCOM) until it went under, so am used to transfers but always to large cities. It's taking some getting used to living in a small town. I am also a single Mom of an amazing 11 year old son. My oldest son just left for the military. That is taking some getting used to also. But I am extremely proud of him. I love to cook and I really love to bake. Unfortunately I don't always have a lot of time to do either. I love looking for easy meals. My crock pot is a life saver, so always looking for delicious recipes to use in the crock pot. I also collect Cookbooks. Love to look for them at yard sales and discount bookstores. Probably have way more than I need but it's great to pull them out and try something new. Though I don't get to do that as much as I'd like.

Favorite Foods:

I grew up in San Diego, so I absolutely love Mexican food. My family also loves Seafood. In fact my family is not picky so they are great to cook for. Even my 11 year old Son loves vegetables. Chocolate is also a favorite for me. Though I try not to eat to much of it. My Son's favorite dessert is homemade pies. LOL
