about me

I live here in wild, wonderful West Virginia, with my loving husband, and two teenage sons, they are great kids, I am so proud of them. And I enjoy being a soccer and scout mom. Also mom to Corky, dog, and Friendly, cat.

I work at an elementary school grades PK to 8th grade.
I am the PreK teacher's aide. And I just love my job working with 3 & 4 yr. olds!

I FINALLY got to see the ocean for the first time in July of 2007. It was awesome! That month was a tough time for me cause my dear dad died early in July, but going to the ocean helped me, there were several times where I just walked on the beach and cried. But my dear dad was a sailor during World War II and I knew he would want me to go and see the wonderful ocean. I definately felt his presence there. My dear mom is in her late 80's and is now in an assisted living home near me. She is in good spirits, but she suffers from demetia. If you would meet my mom, you would love her, she sees nothing but goodness in everyone. She is so sweet, and always has been. When I was a kid, people would always stop and talk to my mom, I would say who was that Mommy, and she would say I don't know. They just wanted to talk. She just had that friendly face, that you felt you could talk to.

I am so glad I found Zaar, and all the kind hearted people here, and funny ones too, I love to laugh. Not too mention the wonderful recipes. I am a much better cook now, (when I cook! We eat out soo much during soccer season.) My family loves my Cream Cheese cut-out cookies. And Venison Parmesan. DH and youngest son are avid hunters. We love venison.

Favorite Foods:

Gee, I like just about everything! Except tomato soup and juice, and red raspberries.

Favorites would be, pizza, chicken, venison, veggies, and sweets~~ Almond Joy, chocolate covered cherries, Twix bars, oh, don't get me started LOL....I have a terrible sweet tooth, my dentist can vouch for that!
