about me

I am an archaeologist, currently doing a Masters by Research at university, and working as a barista to pay the bills. I'm married to a wonderful man who lets me get away with nearly everything. We have a much loved little black cat named Sooty (hence the Zaar name), but no kids as yet.

Favorite Foods:

I love Italian food, with its rich tomato bases and intense herb flavours. I like a lot of Asian-inspired cookery, particuarly things with ginger. I have always loved Middle Eastern food (Greek, Lebanese, Turkish, even Morroccan), and have just started to cook this style of food, whereas before I just ate it at restaurants!
When it comes to sweets, I adore chocolate, but also am partial to really fresh fruit, particularly in summer when all the good stuff is in season.
