I'm a native Texas girl that loves to cook! Nothing beats a new cool recipe, no matter what region of the world it may come from!!! I am a single mother of two children, and Recipezaar is the best, the very best recipe site that I've ever roamed. It saves me so much time. I have a laptop on wireless that I leave on my kitchen bar, and it's my forever cookbook. Everyone who makes this site what it is, I love you for it! Even though I got divorced, I will not deny my children home cooked meals (it'd be easy to do so) because they don't "demand" I cook they truly appreciate the things I make for them.

Favorite Foods:

I love making home made biscuits and cornbread. There is just something about the smell of it in the oven that makes me feel homey. My favorite restaurant is a place call Blue Mesa. It features Southwestern cuisine, a little bit like Mexican but a whole range of different flavors!
