My favorite cookbook is the one from the 1940's that my grandmother smuggled into the country when she came here from Cuba in 1966. The best recepies are the ones she had written in the margins & on the covers.
My favorite childhood memory is sucking on a cinnamon stick I pulled out of hot rice pudding.
I love paprika, tarragon, garlic, black truffle, fruit, South American chocolate, and Madagascar vanila beans.
People love my garlic & lime porkchops...the gravy it makes is amazing.
