about me

I am a Kentucky girl, born and raised. I do wear shoes and have all my own teeth. I am an architectural drafter by trade. I am currently very involved in decorating and landscaping my home. My passion is researching and experimenting with various wall painting techniques. My home is my canvas!

I collect recipes although I have no particular talent for cooking. I can follow a recipe, even altar it somewhat but when I have attempted to create my own dish, it has too often ended up not palatable. This is why Recipezaar has proven to be such a valuable tool for me.

Favorite Foods:

My absolute favorites are Weiner Schnitzel (a recipe given to me by my best friend's German mother), Southern Living's Sour Cream Pound Cake, Broccoli Salad, Zuppa Tuscano, Greek Salad, most any leafy green salad, Margaritas, Bratwurst on the grill, . . .

I am the one in the family to host most of the family get togethers and parties. My daughter and I do love to get together and cook for our gatherings. We always look forward to trying new recipes from our collections.
