about me

I'm a full time mother of six children and an artist in my spare time. We live in Wonderful Wyoming just outside of Yellowstone National Park.
I love to read cookbooks, odd hobby I know, but they fascinate me. I probably have over 100 in my collection. I adore old cookbooks and have several from yard sales and antique auctions. My most cherished posessions are the ones handed down through generations of Grandmothers, I love seeing their handwriting in the margins with their opinion of the recipe or suggestions for improving it. A few are over 100 years old and originated with my great great Grandmother.

Favorite Foods:

I don't have the money for pre-made convenience foods for a family this size. I love to cook anyway so I am always looking for quick, delicious and nutricious recipies; The hundreds of Incredible cooks here on Recipezaar haven't let me down yet.
I've been trying to collect a good set of basic recipes that I can rotate for menus, I love things that I can triple the batches and freeze for nights I just don't have the time or energy to cook.
