about me

I have lived in Missouri all of my life. I am happily married to JIm for 27 years. We have 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy.
My mother lives in the same town that I do. I get to visit her everyday. She is a very special lady in my life. We are so lucky to have my Mother living so close.
We have 4 dogs, Sissy, Lizzy Lynn, Lucky and Demon. We have 8 outside cats. I live in a rural area, which I just love, no close neighbors.
I have a granddaughter born Dec. 21, 2007 and yes I am a very proud Grandma. Her name is Delilah.
I enjoy sewing, crafts, quilting, crocheting and making candles.
I collect cookbooks, 4-H items and coffee cups - love the coffee cups. My DH says I have way to many - can't have to many of those.
I am a Club Leader for the Sullivan 4-H Club. I am also the secretary for the Franklin County 4-H Council. I enjoy working with the kids. They are all truely special. We do projects such as sewing, candle making, stepping stones, cooking, pigs, goats, beef, photography, wood projects and many more.
I enjoy going to second hand shops, yard sales and flea markets - I just never know what I will find while looking around.
If it wasn't for my Best Friend, Mydesigirl, I would of never known about this website. She speaks about it all the time. So I decided to join and I have loved it ever since.
My biggest pet peeve - which I have a few but I do not like to see an adult being mean to a child or a child being mean to their parents.
My DH and I attend a very small rural church. For a small church we do so much.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite food is Italian. I can't cook it like I want to for some reason. Just doesn't taste like I think it should.
I would say my meatloaf is my famous dish.
Favorite restaurant - DeCarlo Cafe - it is such a friendly place to be and the food is excellant.
