I received the name Mommy Shari from my sisters two children. My kids call my sister Kathy Mommy. It is a fun closeness that we share. I have an awesome family!!!

I am an older mom of two wonderful children. DS is 12 and DD is 10. My husband is a wonderful partner of 14 years and counting. We all love to cook, bake and eat. My kids love to spend time with either Mom or Dad in the kitchen. We moved to a new home a few months ago, with a larger kitchen that has a nice peninsula counter that lets us work together putting food together as a team. We are having lots of fun.
My kids who have been picky eaters at times love to try the recipes I find here on Zaar. It is fun to hear them ask, is this a Zaar recipe? OK, then I'll try it. We have not been disappointed in my choosing of recipes yet. They love to tell Dad that we made something from the website!

Favorite Foods:

Mexican has always been a favorite of our family. We love chinese food too. Baking brownies, cakes and cookies for ourselves and the neighbors is our pastime. If the kids say I'm bored, I say well bake something. Then they decide whether it is for us or our neighbors.
