I came across the Zaar as a happy accident and have been happy about it ever since. It is absolutely humbling to find yourself among such talented people. Here there is a plethora of ideas about different ways to prepare a dish. I am inspired every time I spend time on this site.

Pet Peeves: People who try to steal your joy--in other words, mean people.

Favorite Foods:

It is fun to continually try new things. As a member of RecipeZaar, the choices are endless. Casseroles are a favorite choice because of time constraints. I usually fix comfort foods. But as for favorites, I love steak and seafood.

My favorite close-to-home restaurant is Longhorn's. In Philadephia, it is Bookbinder's. Peter Luger Steakhouse in Brooklyn is great.
