about me

I live in Deep East Texas, an area, not a town. I am presently working at a care center for the elderly. I enjoy working in my yard, playing with my beagle and spending lots of time with my family. I love to cook and try new recipes so I am glad I found Recipezaar. I love the Rachael Ray 30 minute cookbooks as I don't always have a lot of time to prepare meals. My passions are all animal and enviromental needs. My pet peeves are people who litter and don't recycle when they can.

Favorite Foods:

Steak, seafood (except crawfish), potatoes and gravy, jasmine rice and just about anything oriental. I make a mean southern chili (my grandmothers recipe) and living in Texas that is totally different. I don't really have a truely favorite restaurant, but I do love to eat at Outback and Red Lobster.
