I'm just a plain ol' gal that loves to garden and travel. There's nothing better than getting my hands dirty and growing my own herbs and veggies. My 2 year old shares this same passion with me, so the both of us, at the end of the day, will be covered with earth from head to toe!

My "Bucket List" includes traveling around the world to small villages and learning of their culture and values. I frequently read documentary books like "Material World" by Peter Menzel, for instance, which describes how other families live throughout other parts of our world. I'm also a big advocate of the "fair trade" market, and try to buy products as much as possible to support the men and women so they can receive adequate pay for their workmanship. Recycling is a big deal for me too...It's such a simple task that can make a huge impact in our world.

Asian! Asian! Asian! My favorite! I'm always searching for fantastic recipes that call for lots of ginger. I also love Armenian food, the flavor of the meats in Armenian dishes really suits our taste buds!
