about me

I'm a single mother with a teenage son. We have adopted 2 wonderful greyhounds and fostered 25+ over the years. My son became a vegetarian in 2007 out of the blue and I had to scramble to try to find recipes that we would both enjoy and that would be nutritious, too. I stumbled on Recipezaar and have never looked back! We've tried so many new things since then. Now that he's back to eating meat, there's a whole new world of recipes out there! I also create off-loom bead woven jewelry and sell at local shows.
