I love to bake....I was once a little hesitant in baking with yeast..but feel more self confident with practice. Looking forward to baking brioche's after this weeks brioche baking seminar.
I am an avid cookbook collector...mostly baking books. I have over 150 in my collection which is getting too big..and my children aren't interested in the books as they also have access to this wonderful technology and Recipe Zaar site. I just might donate them to the cooking school we have here.
Home made anything. Pot Roast and stews in the fall. Prime Rib Roast, and of course pork tenderloin stuffed. The classic turkey for Thanksgiving, and Christmas as well as homemade sausage/meat/bread dressing. Although its time consuming to make, the dressing usually is all gone before the turkey which leaves leftovers for homemade turkey pot pie.
