about me

I am a receptionist on a budget, and most evenings I'm too tired to cook something elaborate for me and my fiance. I do love to make complicated desserts, though! I dream about having the income to buy fresh ingredients and try more exotic dishes, but until then, we get very creative in our kitchen. When I'm not running away from cooking an involved meal, I like to read books and magazines, walk the dog around our hilly neighborhood, and watch educational shows on tv.

Favorite Foods:

Italian is my favorite type of cuisine, but I also treasure well-prepared Southern food. Since we rarely eat out, I don't have a favorite restaurant anymore. My most popular recipes are baked chicken/chicken nuggets, both of which merely involve dousing chicken in a mix of Bisquick and whatever seasonings smell good to me that day!
