about me

I live in Washington state about one hour south of Seattle. I am an accountant for a large local contractor.
I am married with three children, 2 grand sons, 5 horses, 12 chickens, 6 cats, a parrot and 3 dogs ( 2 weiner dogs!)
I love to eat (yes, I need to lose 100 #'s!) and I love cooking in spurts. In other words some days I hate it! I love to read and have started scrapbooking and stamping. I'm also into genealogy.
We lived in Saudi Arabia for 6 years and have travelled around the world many times over. There's no place like home!!

Favorite Foods:

I adore artichokes and most all veggies. I won't eat brains, chicken feet or taro root. You don't get to be 100 pounds over weight by being fussy. My Father was a retired naval commander and we lived all over the world, so that combined with my stint in the middle east has given me very broad horizons where food is concerned. I love most everything.
