about me

I'm a wife and mother of two teenagers. I work part time at our local hospital as an Out Patient Appointment Co-ordinator. In my spare time I enjoy swimming, gardening, reading, walking and, of course, cooking.
In my younger days I spent a year working in Toronto as an au pair and had a wonderful time there. I also visited Winnipeg, where my brother was living at that time, and took a trip through the Rockies to Vancouver.
My son has just gained a place at University to study Psychology, and my daughter is about to go into the Sixth Form at her school.
My husband is a dab hand in the kitchen and loves to cook meals for the family, so I often have a battle on my hands if I feel like being creative.

Favorite Foods:

Our favorite foods are anything Italian, some Chinese, Indian, and Mexican if it's not too hot! We like to eat out at Frankie and Benny,s (the one in Leeds), and our favourite local restaurant is La Romantica in Brighouse - their cannelloni is the best ever!
I can not honestly say that I'm famous for anything that I cook (!) but at the moment my favorite dish is Chinese beef, and my DH seems to like it too.
