about me

I live in Gladstone, MO which is right outside of Kansas City. I work with the school district as a custodian. It is definitely not my dream job but I do get to work with my husband. I will be going back to college to become a teacher though in January. For fun I like to spend time with my husband and children. Between the two of us we have 6 children. Mine are 15, 11, and 10 and his are 26, 24, and 20. It is a good spread in ages. We also have a granddaughter who is 6 years old. I never thought I would be a Grandma at 38 (I was 32 when she was born!). We love her though. I love to cook more than just about anything. I love to try new recipes. I love holidays and being with all of the kids and close friends. My other dream outside of being a teacher is to have my own catering business or maybe a little deli/coffee shop.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite thing to cook is big holiday meals. I am famous for my dinner rolls which is actually my Grandma's recipe. My favorite place to eat is probably Red Lobster. My favorite foods to eat are lasagna, taco's, anything with shrimp in it, and ice cream.
