about me

I am a recent MSc graduate, and aside from my studies, food is a passion of mine! I love to experiment and I really enjoy asian food; however as my family has lived in the south of England for hundreds of generations I have nobody to teach me how to cook authentically! Most of my creations are therefore a bit of a fusion of styles and variations on interesting recipes. As well as weird and wonderful food I also enjoy making old-fashioned british stuff... pies! Toad in the hole! Chips!

As above, I love Indian food and I am gradually getting the hang of home-made curries (let's face it, much tastier and healthier than from a jar!) I am also learning to bake cakes: my coffee cake and banana loaf are always well-recieved

My favourite restaurant at the mo is probably the Hare&Tortoise in London - okay so it isn't fancy as oriental places go, but the prices are superb and the curry laksa is to die for!

I am a fan of almost every food you can name, apart from Marmite and eye-wateringly hot stuff. I am nothing if not enthusaistic about eating!!
