im 28, ive grown up with bicultural food as my parents are japanese. im in between jobs right now, trying to find my perfect occupation^^
dont really have a favourite cookbook...
i love nature, so organic stuff, i LOVE yogi tea - it is the best - if you like chai you have to try this; its decaffeinated, i love surfing, aikido, hanging out with philosophers and artists, poets and musicians...i love stones.
my pet peeves...when i started flatting i realised that though im laxed about anything else, it irritates me if the kitchen isnt efficiently organised! sorry^^ negative people also bother me. life is beautiful.
i love trying all kinds of exotic/different food! i like cooking as long as i know it`s going to be yummy, though it stresses me out if there are other people i have to feed^^ i exepriment when i cook for myself.
as im japanese, i have to say i love sushi and japanese food as its so healthy. but i love visiting and trying the local foods and drinks of places.
people like these cookies i make - actually a friend of mine gave the recipe to me, but everyone just calls them after me. i love making takoyaki because its so social. i also think i have pasta down.
my favourite restaurant...hmm for dining i love french or fusion, for drinking i love robata or yakitori, for talking with friends i love going out for brunch at a nice cafe, for something totally onthe fly, nothing beats those cheap tasty asian places, especially korean! yeah, i guess im pretty fussy about quality and service when i go out...so there are specific restaurants all spread out around town.
