Hello Fellow Recipe Junkies,
I just love checking out everyone’s profile so I thought I would share a bit about me, just in case you are like me and enjoy it also. I am a housewife living in Texas. 4 years ago I quite working in a semi cooperate world. I have been married for 23 years to my high school sweetheart. I guess that would make him my adult sweetheart too
One day I was walking by the window and noticed my puppy setting in my flower pot. I can't believe I caught him with my camera to have a picture of him setting in it to share. I have no idea why he did it, just know I loved it, it was so funny!!! He has put a lot of joy in my life!



I enjoy sewing, painting, crocheting and all type of crafts. I love it when it feels like art class in the house.Here is a photo of a new retro apron I just made from a vintage pattern.


I am going to start canning and freeze food this year. I want to have meals ready for those nights you just don't want to cook and yet don't want to go out... At my home that could be several nights in a row. I know I am bad... LOL We started a very small garden this year and we LOVE it... I never knew it was so much fun and addicting. Here are a few photos of our Very Small garden… but we have big plans to do more next year.

Favorite Foods:

I love fruits! Pies! I have won a blue ribbon for my apple pie, I have been more into cherry pies the past couple of years. Now that is the best of both of my favorites in my mind, fruit pies. I was brought up in the mid-west and love all the "homey" foods too.
Restaurant's I enjoy are Logan's Run and I like a resturant we tried while traveling called The Cotton Patch.
