about me

I share my world with a wonderful husband and 5 cats. I miss my beagle Fergus and when my grandson Evan gets a bit older, he will help me pick out my next Beagle.

I LOVE cooking and gardening. I have way too many cookbooks to pick a favorite and I enjoy finding classic cookbooks at flea markets.

My kitchen is the center of my universe. I hate when people put tomatoes in the refrigerator!

My one and only daughter recently marrried and I am hoping to share my passion for cooking with her and teach her that there is life beyond the microwave.

Food is the #1 best thing in the world to share with others and to learn about different cultures. I am very thankful for being exposed to some Indian, Asian and Russian food from my friends.

Asparagus is my favorite vegetable - simply grilled with a bit of lemon and salt.
