about me

I have lived in the Chicagoland area all of my life, but my family is very diverse. My mother is from Cairo, Egypt and we are Armenian. I was raised by my grandmother who cooked all sorts of dishes that my friends never heard of, but I loved! We cook with rice a lot, and use allspice frequently.

As a rule, I don't usually make something from the site unless i'm sure I'll like it (i've eaten enough food to know what I'll like and what I won't like). Also, I won't rate a meal bad if I have tweaked it. That's just not fair!
